Terms of Service

1. Who these terms are with
These terms are between you and Carly Docking, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom trading as The Curious Collective ("I", "me"). By creating an account or purchasing a membership, you agree to these terms. Contact: hello@thecuriouscollective.net.
2. What I provide
A free Foundation tier (quizzes, assessments, prompts, and other free resources), a paid Freedom First membership (course modules, templates, community, and group coaching), and Freedom by Design, a separate one-to-one mentorship offered by application at a one-off fee.
3. Memberships and billing
Freedom First is a subscription billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. Founding member pricing, where offered, remains in place for as long as your subscription stays active; if you cancel, rejoining is at the then-current standard price.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, and it takes effect at the end of your current billing period, with access continuing until then. Under UK consumer law, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from first purchase; by starting your membership immediately you consent to the service beginning within that period, and if you cancel within the 14 days I may deduct an amount proportionate to the service already provided. Beyond this, subscription fees already paid are non-refundable, but you'll never be charged again after cancelling.
5. Your account
Keep your login details secure and don't share your account. You must be at least 18 to purchase a membership. I may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
6. Community rules
Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, spam, or promotion of your own services to other members without my agreement. Don't share other members' personal information or content outside the community. I may remove content or members that breach these rules.
7. My content and your content
Course materials, templates, videos, and other membership content are mine (or licensed to me) and are for your personal use in building your own business. You may not resell, share, or redistribute them. You keep ownership of any business ideas, plans, and content you create, but you give me permission to display what you post in community spaces under the rules above.
8. Intellectual property
All trademarks, logos, designs, and content on this site remain my property or that of my licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without permission.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, my liability to you for any loss arising from your use of this site or membership is limited to the amount you paid for your membership in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be limited under UK law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and I'll notify members by email where appropriate. Continued use of the site or membership after changes means you accept the updated terms.
